Car Parts Direct ships to Canada and the contiguous United States. Shipping is free to Canada and the contiguous U.S.; Alaska, Hawaii and APO/FPO/DPO addresses require a shipping quote. See our Shipping Policy page for processing times, carriers and delivery details.

Fitment Verification

Fitment must be verified before purchase. A warranty is included with our parts; warranty terms vary by product and are listed on the individual product page. No labor warranty is provided under any circumstances. Pre-installation items such as fluids, gaskets, and cleanup materials are not eligible for reimbursement.

Order Cancellations

If you need to cancel an order, please contact us as soon as possible. If the order has not yet shipped, we will cancel it and issue a full refund at no charge.

Returns

Returns are accepted within 30 days of purchase. This 30-day window is a strict cutoff, and returns cannot be accepted after that period. Car Parts Direct provides free return shipping with a prepaid, downloadable return label within the 30-day window. No restocking fees apply. Refunds are issued after the returned item has been received, inspected, and approved.

Return Authorization

To start a return, contact vintj@carpartsdirectstore.com within 30 days of purchase to obtain a Return Material Authorization (RMA) number. Returns without an RMA may be delayed or denied. All returned items must be in their original condition.

Refunds

Refunds are issued to your original payment method, against the original transaction in Canadian dollars (CAD). For U.S. customers, your card issuer converts the refund to USD, so the USD amount may differ slightly from your original charge because of exchange-rate changes.

Once your returned part has been received, inspected and approved, we process your refund within 3 business days.

Returns for U.S. Customers

U.S. customers follow the same 30-day return process described above. Your RMA email includes the return address and a prepaid return label, so you do not pay return shipping. No restocking fee applies. U.S. orders are shipped from within the United States, and you are not charged customs duties or brokerage fees on your original delivery or on an approved return.

Defective or Incorrect Parts

If a part arrives defective or is not the part you ordered, contact us to obtain an RMA. Within 30 days of purchase it is handled under this return policy; after 30 days, defects are handled under the warranty listed on the product page. Warranties cover the part only; no labor is covered.
